'My drink was spiked': Rebel Wilson says she may have been drugged at a club as she warns girls about dangers of nightlife

Rebel Wilson says she was drugged at a nightclub.

The 36-year-old revealed to her Twitter army on Thursday that she believed her drink was spiked while she was out at a Hollywood club.
Rebel shared the cautionary tale with her fans in detail, admitting that by the morning she felt like she had been 'hit by a truck.'

Terror: Rebel Wilson, pictured in London in February 2016, revealed she believes her drink was spiked on Wednesday
'I had one drink last night at a trendy club which I believe may have been spiked with something. I felt super tried (sic) and disoriented,' she admitted.
'I got home safely but woke up this morning feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. I never thought that would happen to me, but if it does...'
'please act as soon as you feel something strange and get yourself to safety.'
Scary: The 36-year-old detailed what happened Wednesday night to her Twitter followers
Rebel added that she was able to return to the safety of her home just in time.

'Lucky for me, I only drank 1/3 of the drink and realized something wasn't quite right in time to get home before it really hit me,' she added.
The Pitch Perfect did not add her actions following the incident.
Encouragement: Wilson urged her followers to 'act as soon as you feel something strange'
Recent statistics from a nationwide ITV.com survey revealed that a shocking one in 10 people stated they had had their drink spiked on a night out.
But the phenomenon is wildly under-reported due to victims feeling embarrassed or to blame. Often by the time victims have realized it has happened the substance is no longer be present in their systems.
Despite the belief that spiking is primarily a crime against women, Essex Police says that men make up around 11 per cent of those who report that their drink was spiked.

Shining star: Meanwhile, Rebel will continue to be a presence on the big screen (here the actress is pictured at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills in February 2016)
Meanwhile, Rebel will continue to be a presence on the big screen.
On top of returning to her role in Pitch Perfect 3, she will also will appear in the comedy Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
In a recent interview, the Sydney-born star told The Daily Mirror she was a 'huge' fan of BBC comedy Absolutely Fabulous.

Beautiful in blue: The actress made a stylish entrance to the How To Be Single premiere in London in February 2016
Rebel told the UK publication: 'I got to meet (Jennifer Saunders) last year in London and I cried when I met her! She's every bit as amazing as I thought.'
The Pitch Perfect star also revealed she was able to get an 'in' with Jennifer through her former LA roommate, Little Britain star Matt Lucas, 42. After telling her Bridesmaids co-star she was a 'big fan' of the 57-year-old, Matt gave Rebel her email address.

Out and about: The starlet was spotted in grey jeans and flashy pink shoes in West Hollywood in March 2016
'I emailed her and said, "If you need me for anything I’ll be there." I full out got down on my knees and begged. There’s no level to which I wouldn’t have gone to!' she laughed.
Her approach paid off - and Rebel eventually shot a day's worth of 'funny' cameo material for the film back in November.
'I was on it for just the day but to be in the same breathing space as Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, it was a dream come true,' she concluded.
